Sensory play is so calming for Joseph. Feeling the cold water and the slimy fish @instarfarm
- he could have sat there for hours. Did you know sensory play actually builds nerve connections in the brain's pathways? It also supports and enhances memory, cognitive growth, language development, creative thinking, fine and gross motor skills, and problem solving. Sensory play is critical for for children of all ages, not just babies, AND it's super easy!!!! You probably have everything you need in your kitchen - ice, rice, cornmeal, jello, measuring cups to use with flour, sugar, etc (for older children), whipped cream, yogurt. Put some on a tray and watch them play!
