Being in a caloric deficit and tracking insures weight loss and by weight loss I mean it can come from both FAT and MUSCLE‼️
So how do we ensure we're losing more fat than muscle in a deficit? We make sure out Macros (protein, carbs and fats) are sorted out to meet our needs.
Fat is needed at a certain % to maintain hormones and brain function 🗣
Protein is needed at a certain % to maintain/grow muscles while being in a deficit to ensure most of the weight loss we achieve is from fat🔥
And Carbs are what is left over in our daily caloric intake for energy and for some extra treats 🍕🍦 (kidding but not really)
