• Source • Here are some of my neutral yarns (merino, cormo, Romney). A few are also still available in the shop .
Today’s (I’ll make up for the missed prompts as soon as my handknits dry💧) challenge set by @yarninthecity
All of my yarn comes from the U.K, most is organic, all slaughter-free, non-mulesing practices, breed specific. I should really talk more about the fibres that I use, as they are ethical, and lovely to work with. Falkland, cormo, Shetland, Corino. I’ll do that more often.
The dyes colour my yarns with are half foraged, half bought. The family that I get my dyes from make a few trips to South American to get the dyes that are impossible to source in Europe. My mom regularly travels to Nigeria, and she always brings me back things to dye/make with. In the new year, she’ll be bringing me back something amazing, I’ll show more of that later!
