The first use of the term "heatwave" for a period of hot weather was in New York in 1892. The first use of the phrase "It's so hot I'm gonna die - ohhhh pretty flowers" was uttered a few moments ago as I took this photo. #interestingfacts . . . #raleigh #summergardening #nc #flowersofinstagram #shoplocal #shoplocalraleigh #hotplantsforcoolpeople #stayhydrated
#DEATH #KNIGHT #WEEKEND SECOND GENERATION- DEATH KNIGHTS OF THE SCOURGE Years after the destruction of Draenor, the immensely powerful Lich King created a new breed of death knights: malevolent, rune-wielding warriors of the Scourge. The first and greatest of these was the Lich King's chosen champion, Prince Arthas Menethil, once a mighty paladin of the Silver Hand who sacrificed his soul to claim the runeblade Frostmourne in a desperate bid to save his people. The rest are primarily made up of other fallen paladins whose souls were twisted and bound to the will of the Frozen Throne. Unlike Gul'dan's death knights, these dark champions possess unholy strength; however, they do not possess free will and their minds are inexorably entwined with and dominated by the Lich King's vast consciousness. Despite the potential loss of free will, some powerful mortals are intrigued by the promise of immortality and pledge their souls freely into the Lich King's service to achieve it. Baron Rivendare is an example of this. Death Knights from new Hearthstone expansion are exatly these Deatht Knights of the Scourge. In expansion it is shown how all 9 main Hearthstone heroes would have been transformed if they would be intrigued by imortality and increase in power which Lich King offered.

Magnesium is one of the most common minerals deficiencies. There is enough magnesium on the Earth to make another planet roughly the size of Mars, plus three moons on the side! Magnesium is great for sore muscles (sport lovers!) ⛹️‍♀️🥊🥋 You may have deficiency if you have these symptoms: fatigue, poor memory, anxiety, irritability, poor sleep.
Study: Ritalin use in childhood could cause long-lasting alterations in neurotransmission Scientists in the Netherlands have found evidence that stimulants used in the treatment of ADHD have different effects when acting on the developing or the mature brain. The study, published in the journal NeuroImage: Clinical, was the first to investigate the effects of childhood methylphenidate treatment on brain levels of the neurotransmitter GABA in adult ADHD patients. “The prevalence of ADHD has increased rapidly over the last few years,” said Michelle M. Solleveld of the University of Amsterdam, the study’s corresponding author. “With this, prescription rates of methylphenidate, also known as Ritalin, are increasing as well. The safety and efficacy of methylphenidate treatment in adults has been studied thoroughly. However, methylphenidate treatment for ADHD is actually more common in children, and no studies so far have investigated the possible long-term effects of methylphenidate on the developing brain.” “Animal studies show that when animals were treated with methylphenidate during their childhood, persisting effects in the brain remained present well into adulthood,” Solleveld told PsyPost. “This alarmed me, as this hasn’t been studied in humans, but psychiatrists are increasingly prescribing methylphenidate to children to acutely decrease their symptoms of ADHD. I, together with the rest of the research group, therefore wanted to investigate this in humans in order to gain more knowledge about these possible persisting effects.” . . . #healthnews #healthtips #newnan #medical #urgentcare #fayetteville #peachtreecity #eastpoint #fitness #health #medicine #wellness #diet #healthyeating #hospital #doctor #nursing #atlanta #atlantanews #health #ptc #newnannews #mariettanews #TIL #Interestingfacts
The easiest way to tell if a snake is poisonous or not is to look at the pupils. If they are rounded, the snake is nonvenomous. If they are slits, the snake is venomous. - - Hashtags - #snake #snakes #beautifulsnakes #interestingsnakes #facts #funfacts #wowfacts #interestingfacts #snakefacts #wow #interesting #animalfacts #beautiful #interestinganimals #beautifulanimals
