Morning musings on lighter hues of petrol blue. The mid-century modern ‘Silhouette’ sofa. Designed by Rastad & Relling with walnut inserts within the curved arms, it was made by Dokka Furniture in 1956. The Norwegian Rastad and Relling, founded in 1943, is an architectural and interior design firm whose prolific creative team hails from the UK, America, and Norway. The metal rusted clock by @brokenfaces.rustyworks
is available in a range of colors including russet, red, green, and grey. Each color has been fully integrated into the rusting process, and the clocks are each one-of-a-kind, handmade by the visionary Ruben Koerhuis in the Netherlands. His ‘Time With A Past’ Collection is remarkably affordable. Our Scottish lambswool jacket is in a Panama weave and carries a low contrast lavender beaded windowpane. When used for midweight woolen fabrics, the Panama construction is a soft and somewhat loose weave, with a fine, granular surface. The accompanying elements are a pick and pick cashmere and silk scarf, worsted cashmere herringbone tie, and a shirt of lightly brushed twill woven on the diagonal. I chose to trim this jacket with vintage hand-carved buttons of caramel horn. Not seen, ash grey worsted flannel trousers, powder blue lambswool hosiery, and dark olive velvet slippers, the Albert by Edward Green.
