My formal education and initial career was in fashion design. 💃🏻 After graduating I worked for a large company with a head office in Burnaby, and overseas production in Asia. There were a lot of deadlines that revolved around the fedex guy arriving for pickup, lots of spreadsheets, and a chorus of oohs, ahhs and 'CUTE's!' when our sample garments arrived. I left the industry to travel, and then life had other plans that included me starting and managing a business among other fun things. But I still love to draw and my fashion figures are making a comeback. They are fun to make, and you can plan your own wardrobe, use them for designing or drawing out costumes, or even just to practice your figure drawing.
