I love this photo posted by Jane Lees @janezambezilees
who is both an artist and the Vicar of St Luke's Church in Oxford, England. The photo suggests the character of that small, vibrant congregation. They hosted a group of @npuchicago
students (and myself) for the better part of a week in 2014. Ever since they have hosted my collaborative project #theoxfordtemma
which hangs out at St. Luke's and is in the background of this photo (swipe right to see the full painting). That painting is (for me) about how community can be formed by, for and with those typically relegated to the margins of society.
