This Mid-Autumn Festival, the chefs at @goodwoodparkhotelsg
have flexed their creative muscles and came up with three unique new snowskin flavours, along with all-time favourites MSW and D24 Durian Snowskin, Cempedak and Mango with Pomelo, as well as traditional baked mooncakes, available for orders from 23 August to 4 October.
The Root Beer Snowskin Mooncake caught my attention. They are infused with flavours of vanilla beans and a tinge of rum were mixed into the root beer base. I liked the flavour and appreciated that they weren’t too sweet.
The refreshing Apple Cider Snowskin Mooncake dotted with diced apples has a balance of sweet and tangy flavours, while the stunning blush pink Prickly Pear with Bergamot Snowskin Mooncake has bits of diced pears to add texture, and the use of bergamot yields a fresh, citrusy aroma that is delicate, delicious and not too sweet.
