"Life happens outside of your comfort zone"
The bench press an exercise that I've always avoided..I still trained chest but I just stuck with cables and free weights mainly because it was a foreign exercise to me and the thought of trying something new and potentially failing at it was scary. However, I'm a firm believer that you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone if you want to see change/growth. While 65 lbs might not seem that impressive, it's never been about how much weight I can/can't lift throughout my "fitness journey" it's more about getting out of my head and pushing past those mental barriers to see all that I'm capable of. Don't be afraid to try something new, whether that's in or out of the gym. It's okay to feel vulnerable. The unknown is scary, but it is SO worth it. #myspotterisalsomycamerawoman
