Good afternoon 👋 If you've watched my 'Eat for your body type' videos you'll know I am an advocate of eating LOW GI (Glycemic Index) carbohydrates! Above is your cheat sheet to these 👆 Low GI carbs will produce less of an insulin spike in the blood when you eat them as opposed to high GI carbs like which cause a big spike. Insulin spikes can blunt fat oxidation (fat burning) so it's really important if you are trying to lose fat that you control your insulin levels, particularly if you are an Endomorph. This body type has poor sensitivity to insulin and often releases too much when carbs are eaten, hence why people with this body type often struggle to lose fat.
