A casual quad stretch from this morning before I barely made it through the entire stair master sequence (see my story for the workout)👀 bright and early as you can see but my energy was high💥 I worked out my shoulders 1st, & the stairs lasted 20 minutes, and was wayyyy harder than I thought it would be😅 Good reminder that I really need to work on endurance and incorporate some light cardio into my workouts. A common mistake I see when people perform the lying ham curl is the ELEVATED hips during the concentric phase to compensate for the load through the machine! ❌ . KEY LEARNING POINTS: . 1️⃣Ensuring hips are pinned into the bench at all times during the ROM (Range of Motion). ✅ . 2️⃣Ensuring our glutes and hamstrings are INITIATED before we move the load, whilst maximising TUT (Time under Tension) trough both concentric and eccentric phases. ✅ . 3️⃣Making sure we don’t exceed the ROM at the top of range (reducing the demand for the QL/ lower back to strain) keeping the focus and tension solely on the hamstring and glutes. ✅ . 4️⃣Make sure we have the concept in our minds of ‘reaching/extending away’ during the eccentric phase of the lift to maximise TUT and the stretch on the hamstrings. ✅ . Mega archi delicioso y sanito !!! #albondigas de atun y #pasta de #garbanzos de @manuduranona 🙌🏻🙌🏻 1 lata chica de atun al agua 80 gr de pasta @pastasmakarona sport (garbanzos y aislado de soja) cocinada 1/2 cebolla salteada 1 ramito de coliflor hervido Sal Especias Ajo en polvo y nube de tomate de @sangiorgioar Ajo picado Aceite de trufa de @sangiorgioar 1 huevo Procesar la pasta previamente hervida, Mezclar con el atun y el resto de los ingredientes aplastando con las manos. Armar las bolitas y llevar a sarten previamente calentada con aceite. Ir girando cuando se doran. Por otro lado para la salsa: Pure de tomate ( use comprado) 2 cucharadas de casancrem de @laserenisimaok y un poquito de salsa barbacoa use @hellmannsarg Revolver a fuego bajo y una vez todo integrado tirar sobre las albondigas, tapar y dejar a fuego bajo. Retirar y servir sobre colchon de rucula con aceite de oliva de @sangiorgioar

BIOMECHANICS. SCIENCE. 👩‍🔬Based not the messages we get from many of you guys, you still need to be educated on how the body is all linked⛓ together. . . Band walks are a common exercise. The reason we put the band around the feet is actually to give the arches of your feet some resistance as you lift them. 💪You will also be creating resistance for the glutes. While doing this exercise, it is very common for people to bend the knees and keep the torso upright. This will put more of the work in the quads and outside of the hips. If you hinge over more and sit your weight back⬅️ into your heels, keeping your shins completely vertical↔️, you will put more of the work into the #booty. . .
