Seated Hip Stretch
First day we warm up and open those hips with a seated hips stretch. These includes variations of lotus/half lotus, butterfly stretch, or shoelace stretch.
I choose lotus with a twist -
targets the inner thigh muscles, the quads, and the often stiff muscles and tissues along the side of the torso that connect the waist and hip area. The twist adds obliques stretch and lengthening the spine.
