What an amazing testimony from our client, Ros'ann! Congratulations on this day. #Repost @rosann.n
The [Howard] woman is resilient and full of grace. She does not back down from her opponent. That woman does not seek validation from things that cannot define her. The [Howard] woman understands that through struggle only comes success.
Today, May 11, 2017... I will be announced as a graduate of The Howard University, an accomplishment that I never thought I would see. At a young age, I was molested, witnessed domestic violence and substance abuse, was raped later on as a teen, started working at age 13, became pregnant, contemplated thoughts of suicide, abandoned by friends, and was bullied throughout college while maintaining a full-time job with a 3.0. I raised myself and still remained graceful and poised. So today, I stand tall. I raise my head up and tell all of you that anything is attainable. Some may use this story to exploit me. But I use this story to show you that you never know what lies behind those smiling eyes. It wasn't until I transferred to Howard University in 2014 that I found myself. I am no longer fearful of my past. I will go on to pursue a law degree, release a career based technology app in August, continue writing my book, and run for office. I send this message telling you to stay strong, embrace your growth, and remain humble along the way. #howarduniversity #howardgraduate #howardalumni #classof2016 #todayismygraduation #howardcnahs #graduation #bachelorofscience #staytuned #mybrand #futurelawyer #futurepolitician #blackgirlsgraduate #nigerianwoman #howardalumnimagazine
