Melù or potassolo is blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou), a sea #fish
with a long, thin body, gray-blue colored on its back, lighter colored on its stomach, and reaching about 35 – 40 cm. After having selected the best specimens, the melù are filleted and, after salting, hung to dry. The fiche maschie a stocchetto are prepared by #fisherman
