spoke truth into me that honestly shook me to the core. ‘You can do it all, but you can’t do it all at once.’ The past few weeks have consisted of focusing on work, starting a Lifegroup with my sister, becoming more involved at church, and just spending time with the people I care about. I wasn’t as concerned about getting my lifts in because honestly, there’s SO much more to life. Fitness has always been a strong outlet for me, but as I’ve grown closer to God and allowed myself to grow in more areas, all of these other things fill me with joy too.
Really the point here is to do what makes you happy. Prioritize and don’t stretch yourself too thin. Today I did Crossfit WOD and finished it with kettlebell swings and jump squats. I had a blast and it was a great way to get back into the gym and have some fun with it.
