You see that 4, soon to be 5, loads of laundry sitting behind me? Or that you can't see-- the dishes in the sink, the bills to be paid, the emails to be answered, the full inbox I have to respond to, the sheets to be washed, errands to be run, the calls to be made, the endless work to do list to be done before I pick Declan up from school? Everything like that, used to be my excuse that I "didn't have time for me". I convinced myself that as a single mom, I just couldn't do it all! HA!🙄 Reality? I had the time. I wasn't managing my time well. I w The deeper reality? I didn't feel that I was as WORTHY and deserving as everything else, to carve out 30 minutes of my day to take care of me. I hadn't yet wrapped my head around the fact that if I wanted to be the most active, patient, energetic mom, or the best coach, or the best leader, or my happiest, most aligned, connected, most productive self-- I HAD to make time to take care of me.💕 After all, what does everything else matter if years down the road I have everything, but don't have my health, emotional well being and wellness to truly enjoy the people and things in my life? That wasn't easy for me to ask or admit to myself. Are you at the top of your priority list? If not and you want to learn how to be...I have a few tips that immensely helped me. - ask yourself, the deeper reason why you feel everyone and everything else should come before you? (for me, it was lack of self love and worth). - think about your day, from the moment you get up, until the time you go to bed, where are you wasting time? (this was SUPER eye opening to me to see where I procrastinate and waste time). - what can you eliminate to MAKE more time for things you want/need to do? (can you make a to do list, pack lunches ahead, lay out clothes, get things done that only take a few minutes and cause distraction, say NO to things that aren't truly important, etc?) - why is making a change important to you? Emotional reasons to back your decision are key. Carve in that time for you. I promise, it'll change your life! Burnt out is no way to live.✌🏻 Don't know where to start? Here to help.💕

Yesterday’s chest workout with little triceps. The isometric holds oh my lawd do they just burn 🔥 Save It. Try It. Tag a friend, ya know whatever ya like! ▶️ 3x10 bench press ▶️ 4x10 pec deck with 5 reps with isometric hold. After completing the full 10 reps, keep one arm out in front squeezing your pec, complete 5 reps with one arm, then switch. ▶️ 4x10 incline db press with 5 reps w/ isometric hold. Same thing as above. Complete full 10 reps- one arm extended while the other does 5 reps then switch arms. ▶️ 4x15 rope press downs ▶️ 4x12 single arm cable tricep extension

I did a lot of thinking lately and i have to admit that weights training - which is basically what i have done since i have started working out (on and off along the years, of course) - isnt fun anymore to me, like it used to be. So i am planning to start a calisthenics plan, I still have to decide how many times a week, because I want to alternating inversions and cycling. So twice a week maybe? I have a depressive disorder so motivation isn't that easy to find and giving up and hopelessness is the easiest thing to feel when it comes to exercise 😫 thats why I HAVE to find something thats fun to me, otherwise i am not really inclined to keep doing it.
