Well yesterday 8/22 was successful in that I got in my run, got all my goals, but only finished chest in my chest shoulders and triceps workout.
I was in a super big hurry, doing a superset got to my last set of flies but apparently I didn't move the set of dumbbells that were below the bench I was on...soooooo somehow I managed to smash the end of my left middle finger between the business ends of the dumbbells.
My wife insisted we go to urgent care. I of course insisted I would be fine; she won.
And she was right! Fractured the end of my finger bone not a big deal, but it also took 6 stiches to sew up the tips in my finger. The doc said that it was good I went to urgent care because with the rip tissue and the fracture in the bone if it were to get infected the bone could get infected. So I now have stitches, antibiotics, wraps and a protective brace thingy.
I will be taking today off but I will be hitting it as normal as I can again starting Thursday. I guess this will be testing of my grip strength. ;) #nopainnogain
