Hoping it's not a relapse/tumour 🙏🏻
"We were saddened to learn that although Daisy’s brain scan was clean, her spine showed spots. Her Doctor is not certain it’s cancer because of the condition of Daisy’s spine. She has had so much done to her spine with the radiation she had twice and the surgery to remove tumors and some of her spine in 2015.
The brain tumor team will all meet on Monday to discuss her case and her Doctor will call us afterwards.
She will have a lumbar puncture on Tuesday to be sure that no cancer cells are floating in her spine. Please pray alongside us for this to be negative.
We will not have those results until after Thanksgiving. The wait is going to be hard.
We will be thankful anyway. We are sad but trying to stay positive. It’s a bump in the road and something we weren’t expecting but we are hoping it’s nothing.
The pun she told the doctors before falling asleep -
A skunk, a deer and a duck went to dinner one night. When the bill arrived,
the skunk didn’t have a scent,
the deer didn’t have a buck,
so they put it on the ducks bill.
Daisy has been doing so well. She is loving the cooler days, spending time with her friend, going to school and playing with her Shopkins and dog, Cupcake.
Her friend Wendy who is in Thailand face timed with Daisy before the scan. They laughed and gave each other a hard time."
