The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie, deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent persuasive and unrealistic. John F. Kennedy *
No mythtaking! There are prevalent myths which parade around as truths- stop them for our future generations! •
Top offending, destructive myths :
• Bullying makes you tougher, stronger. (Bullying hurts the bully, the bullied and the bystander.) • Its a joke. Lighten up.
(You can’t tell someone how to feel, or how they should feel) • Settle it among yourselves. (No one has been taught to talk! That’s why we’re doing this!) • That’s just the way it is.
(That’s the way we’ve allowed it to become, but we can recreate as well @as
we create!) • Just let it go, and it will resolve on its own. (Resolutions come from reflection and Choice, so they are resolved and don’t resurrect!) • They bring out the worst in me ( The worst in you is brought out by you!) • They know exactly what they’re doing. (Do you know this or are are judging? Who’s truth?) Speak truth. Know the source of your facts, quote your sources. Listen to others to learn more! ❤️
