Double-tap if you agree! Opportunity is out there. In fact, it's everywhere. You just have to look for it. Pursue it. Chase it. Go after it. Sitting back and waiting for the right opportunity will leave you empty, and missing the goals in your work and life that you could have reached. Take advantage of every opportunity you get. . . . #purpose #work #gogetit #getafterit #workwithpurpose #encouragement #careertips #worktips #workhard #fuelyourmission

Compassion fatigue is real. Google it. I am talking from experience and knowledge . Burn out. Emotionally and physically. It will happen to you if you cannot attend to your needs . Constant involvement with other's pain will traumatise and re-traumatise you until you are sick, numb and half dead . It doesn't even have to be in person, If you are prone, it can affect you just as badly if not more. Limit the amount of news you watch, papers you read and on line exposure to dramatic, distressing images, text and videos . Stop engaging with people who you know are sucking the life out of you. Its you or them. You deserve to live. Make that choice . If you keep giving what you do not have, you will be more broken than you were before. People won't see you anymore because you've become invisible and all that's expected from you is your constant giving and you'll get nothing back, just pain, lonliness and sadness . Stop waiting for other's to notice you, see how much you care and love and give. They won't. They won't because they've never seen you give to yourself and they are disinterested and selfish and self absorbed . Stop giving those people your power by expecting something from them and waiting for them to change. Not. Going. To. Happen . You change. You decide that its not good enough, acceptable or ok . Recognise that that hole you are trying to fill by constantly helping others and constantly worrying about the rest of the world is displacement. Displacement of your own pain and longing and unattended needs . Your mind and body is screaming at you to be heard. Tune out from from those other people and tune into yourself . You may say you are an empath, a naturally caring loving giving soul and you most probably are but you'll never have the full beautiful experience of your gift if you cannot look after and learn to love yourself first . It is simple. Do not let other's complicate it. Follow your heart and your truth but do not be misguided by believing that in order for you to be worthy, good, kind, sensitive helpful and loving you must give up yourself . Stop buying into that lie and the belief that you should never come first . You are number 1 πŸš€πŸŒΉ
