Soooo I finally got some Fenty beauty! 👐🎉🎊🎨 I went with my lovely cousins @fatimahersi5 @kaltuum5 @ilham_xo
and my little sister to the luxury department store Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge central London. I've never been to that store before and I don't tend to wander into that part of London much because my heart hurts seeing all those expensive stores and London traffic is soul destroying.😫 Anyways we waited in a line to be able to go to the Fenty beauty counter.
And so many people were asking us what we were queuing up for 😭
Anyways trying out the makeup was fun and I picked up the Foundation in the shade 400 and the duo highlighter in ginger binge and Moscow mule, a gorgeous rose gold/ copper shade that looks lovely on my dark brown skin.
I must say that it's really great how a new makeup brand has managed to be so inclusive of so many different skin tones and undertones on their first go by having 40 shades of foundation!
For me usually if I look for foundation in most makeup brands either they don't have my shade or I have only two shades of brown to pick from. But with Fenty beauty I had so much choice that it was a bit hard to find my best match! I've never really had that level of choice before which is nice.
The fact that women who are really pale or very dark are catered for and can find a shade that could work for them.
Also the makeup and brushes are cruelty free, vegan and not tested on animals! Also I find the pricing to be ok and I love the packaging.
I've only just tried these products so I want to try them over a longer period of time before I give my honest review.
