My heart is broken for this family in this time of thanksgiving and family time. This is the strongest family I know. Reading the updates on the GoFundMe page is proof of that. Please give it you can. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. ・・・
UPDATE. We need your prayers for the Simaos. Yesterday, the doctors were able to complete all of their scans necessary to determine Isaiah's brain activity. The results were that he has no brain activity. He is still currently on life support, which is breathing for him and his heart is still beating, but his brain is not functioning or responding at all.
Most of our family and some of our friends were able to join the Simaos yesterday in singing hymns, reading scripture, reading letters and listening to Maya playing beautiful hymns and songs on her violin. A lot of us were also able to say our last goodbyes.
Isaiah's parents decided to spend one last night with their son and allow any other friends or family who were not able to make it be able to say their goodbyes this afternoon. They will be turning off the machines tonight.
