Its been such a longgggg day for me. From working my overnight job, only getting 3 hours of sleep, going to put my first payment down for school and then working my other job 1-9. I'm tireddd but I just got time to sit down and realize that I really made the first step to investing in myself by paying for this course. Tired of working bullshit jobs, busting my ass for damn near nothing when I can get a little career training and make a decent amount while I go to school in the future for what I really want to be. (substance abuse counselor) I haven't been to school in years but I know I got this. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Always ready for a new challenge. Today it's DAY DOT of the #7daychallenge for career wellbeing! So excited to be sharing this next week with you. For those who are email subscribers you may have read my journey this last week on feeling a little unsettled in my own career. I've been feeling unsure of some opportunities that have come my way and quite frankly I suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out). I tend to want to jump into everything and then find myself spread quite thin. Day Dot for me was all about spending some time in meditation - this was the first time I'd dived into meditation for about a year and to be honest I'm pretty shit at it. I find it hard to not fall asleep or I find my mind wondering at a zillion miles an hour. 10 minutes of meditation felt like an eternity but I did feel a little lighter coming out of it! I also downloaded the Asana Rebel app to commit to a minimum of 10 minutes of exercise a day. Yoga to me is calming, helps with circulation and mindfulness. If you yoga isn't for you, pound the pavement, go boxing or run on the spot for 10 minutes. Whatever! It really does make such a great difference to productivity and shaking out those icky vibes when you're feeling lost and confused. Can anyone relate? Tips on how to meditate would be amazing!
