Stage shots 💃🏼✨ Way to excited to get back out there tonight! This still doesn't feel real to me. Even tho I haven't gotten a placing yet, being top 6 at my first national show is already more than I thought I would walk away with. Not because I doubt myself BUT because this is such a competitive sport to be in and all the girls look SO freaking beautiful I don't know how the judges do it honestly!! Technically, today is my #friyay when it comes to the work scene but yesterday’s workout completed my first week focusing on only certain areas of my body. I’m not 💯 percent satisfied (aka not sore enough - well, besides my calves because those mf’s hurt!!) so I’ll be stepping it up next week. Progress not perfection. Yesterday’s workout was focused on a little bit of each area: Warmup - 🔥 5 minutes on elliptical 3 x 10 squats with barbell 3 x 10 stiff leg deadlifts 3 x 10 deadlifts 3 x 20 glute bridges Workout - 🏋🏼‍♀️ 5 x 8 95lb squats 3 x 15 27.5lb dumbbell deadlifts 3 x 10 squat machine (105lb resistance) feet apart 3 x 10 squat machine (105lb resistance) feet together 3 x 10 hanging leg raises 2 x 20 alternating knee to elbow crunches Cooldown - ❄️ 5 minutes on treadmill (4.0 incline/3.0 speed)
