Whoa what a crazy read! I never read thrillers so to me this was insane. I almost threw up twice from anticipation of the description of what happened. A Final Girl is what someone is labeled who has survived a horrible horrible tragedy in which everyone else has died violently. Yea, not my normal type of thing for sure. However, this was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read and out of any thriller I could have picked up for this month I'm glad it was this one.
The writing was very good and the author constantly kept me on my toes as far as having no clue who to trust or believe. The book also dived into dealing with the trauma after something like this has happened which was also scarily interesting. You will oddly enough be simultaneously hungry and nauseous all at once while reading- you'll see why once you read! Promise I'm not crazy.
The author is actually a pseudonym so I found that intriguing too. I did not rate it five star as the ending was not exactly what I was hoping for and in general it gave off more of a slasher feel than I was expecting, but overall really really well done. I will be keeping to reread another year now that I know all the answers!
OH! And this gorgeous edition is on Book Depository. Nothing like reading a scary book with black stained edges eeeeek!
QOTD: Do you read Books out of your comfort zone? AOTD: Not often but I'll try here and there!
