YOU CAN EAT LIKE SHIT AND STILL LOSE WEIGHT❗️(SEE BELOW) - Dieting does not have to be boring and plain. When you establish what your maintenance calories are or the calories that you need everyday to maintain your current weight, the possibilities are endless for your diet🙌🏻 - Step 1. Know your current weight and body fat percentage. - A really good calculator to use is the "Katch Mcardle" calculator. Input your current weight and current body fat %. This will give you your BMR.🙌🏻 - Step 2. Now we need to add in an activity factor, because we do activities throughout the day! Take a look at the chart below. - x1.2 (Desk job with little exercise) x1.375 (1-3 hours/wk of light exercise) x1.55 (3-5 hours/wk of moderate exercise) x1.725 (5-6 hours/wk of strenuous exercise) x1.9 (7-21 hours/wk very heavy exercise, twice a day) - Step 3. Multiply the the BMR by the activity factor, you get your maintenance calories. THIS NUMBER OF CALORIES WILL BE TO MAINTAIN CURRENT WEIGHT. Now we add our goal (either lose weight, or gain weight.) do this by percentages. (5-15%) - So lets say we want to lose weight. Lets take 10% of our maintenance number, and subtract it. This will put us at what's called a "caloric deficit" in other words, the number of calories we need to lose weight. - Step 4. MACRO BREAKDOWN❗️ - The standard macro breakdown is 40% protein, 40% fat and 20% carb. Start with this and see how your body reacts with your given caloric number. As long as you hit your daily macros or macronutrients (carbs, fats and proteins) then you will meet your goal.😊 make healthy choices, but don't limit yourself to what you want.🙌🏻
