πŸ”Ή Back Flip - High Box Jump - Back Flip πŸ”Ή I've been doing alot more backflips lately, which has felt awesome! Honestly a freestanding backflip has never really been a skill I've tried to work on that much, but over the last few weeks I've been doing one or two of them here and there (greasing the groove). They're starting to feel more and more comfortable the more I do them. I'm actually starting to feel like I have better control of my body in the air than when I started. I used to have to do them with a giant foam pad behind me and I wouldn't even get all the way around. I'd usually land like Spider-Man, on my hands and feet in a crouched position. No growth comes from the safety of the center of your circle which at one point may have been the fringe. All of the greatness in life is on the edges where you must let components die and recreate yourself in order to be successful. Where discomfort is commonly felt more intensely than comfort. The goal was to stand up as fast as I could and then run as fast as I could. The first shot was just from the prone position. The second and third have me starting on my back. The second clip I just got up as I rolled and the third one I rolled all the way over before getting up.
