The reformer is such a great piece of equipment. There are so many exercises that can be performed on it. However, it is so important that you master the basics before you go on to more complicated and challenging exercises.
Even if you are a professional athlete, Pilates is unique method that has a lingo of its own. It may feel boring in the beginning, especially if you are fit, but once you have mastered the basic principles and how to technically maintain your form throughout an exercise your body will begin to change in ways that you don't experience with many other forms of exercise.
Your core will get stronger, your posture will improve, you'll start to notice less imbalances through your body and very likely less aches, pains and injuries.
