Since he and Dan moved into their new apartment, Phil found the piano in Dan's room to be somewhat creepy. He got a sickly feeling whenever he saw it. Since Dan had no similar feelings, Phil tried to ignore the sinking feeling in his stomach whenever he was near the piano.
On one night, a few weeks after they had moved in, Dan excused himself to play the piano for a bit. Hours later, at almost three am, Phil could still hear the sounds of the piano through the wall. He tiredly rubbed his eyes and wandered down to Dan's room. He knocked lightly on the door, and jumped when he heard hands slam down onto the keys.
"Dan?" He called quietly.
That sinking feeling in his stomach returned and Phil's breathing quickened slightly. He didn't know exactly why he was scared but he knew it was for a good reason.
"Dan...?" he tried again, and was met with a deafening silence.
Maybe he should just go back to his room. Clearly Dan wants to be alone... Phil turned to leave, but found himself slowly looking back to the door in front of him.
He should make sure Dan's okay, at least.
He slowly reached for the doorknob and hesitated. He was beginning to feel seriously ill.
Should he really open the door?
I'll comment 'open the door' and 'walk away' so please like one of those comments to vote :)
