Video analysis included in both programs. - 3day/wk: This program is intended for crossfitters looking to add more Weightlifting to their programming. It’s also for athletes who want less volume (Masters athletes), or for those who are short on time. Each session is 75minutes & every exercise is controlled by the clock. Think of this as a supplemental weightlifting program to add into your regimen. - 5day/wk: This program is designed for weightlifters. Crossfitters may also do this program but we would recommend to do it in your off-season as it’s designed to be your primary training regimen. You could switch to the 3day/wk once the season approaches. Each session lasts 90-120min. - Choosing the right program depends on your goals, strengths/weaknesses, & what phase of your season you’re in. Still not sure which one is for you? 31 of 100 Better Ways to Move and Feel Better: Standing Band Pull Aparts . ❤️ If you saw my video last week of the foam roller band pull apart, this one is similar, but plainly you are standing. I would categorize this one as a more advanced exercise for someone who is rehabbing any kind of shoulder issue or may have some sort of neck issue. . 🐒 The reason is if you are lying down on the foam roller thinking of squeezing your shoulder blades together into the roller your neck muscles won't compensate and fire. While standing, someone who weak musculature in the shoulder blade region (lower traps, mid traps, rhomboids, etc.) the upper traps/neck will take over the movement and you won't get the benefit. . 🎄 This is an exercise I'd progress someone to and not start with.
