from dad's photographic material located last week. It is a 4x5 print on super glossy paper.
Dad said he used to go on photographic outings with a retired #WWII
army chaplin, a Catholic priest who rode this motorcycle. Dad said the priest had an office at the chancery, but didn't remember his name.
Interestingly, dad would never have been able to have drive any cycle, much less a standard transmission car. His right hip was fused from surgery for a bone infection he contracted when he was 14. He lost a year of high school at #EPHS
from this and had to relearn how to walk. He finally learned to drive once he began dating my mother (at around age 26) so she wouldn't have to take the bus home to #Smeltertown.
UPDATE: A friend found information about the motorcycle: "It’s late 40’s or early 50’s #Harley.
This one is a 1958 #HarleyDavidson #ServiCar
1940 #Indian #ChiefPolice
