I'm back in the land of the tracker but I forgot to wear it the last two days. The program I'm following right now #chaleanextreme
is primarily about lifting, which I love💪💪💪, but there are two cardio days in the week. One of those was yesterday and I'd forgotten to put on my #fitbit
so today I doubled up - did the cardio one again plus my regularly scheduled weights😃. Just delivered a package to a travel client and despite being pressed for time, I chose to take the stairs.
Today in our group we are talking about the power of words, the stories we tell ourselves - and how to break free from self limiting beliefs. It's all about ACTION and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 💥💥 Or fake it till you make it, as one of our tribe mentioned. What does this mean? Too often we are comfortable with telling ourselves negative stories about ourselves, like, "I can never stick with a program," "I knew this was going to be hard," "I don't have the time," "It's easier for them..." You know what I mean? Turn off the noise and take ACTION to start. Do a 10 minute workout, take the stairs, choose the salad, go for a walk. Now you've become THAT person, the person commuted to their health, the person taking time now, the person who CAN. Acknowledge your reality - write down those successes and focus on them! We all have mountains, are you going to climb them or stay where you are? You can do it so just START. If you want help taking the first step, reach out.
