I saw a brilliant show last night called The Sound Of Falling Stars, presented by Auckland Live as part of the International Cabaret Festival.
The performance is a stroll through multiple musical decades highlighting some of music's most moving & enigmatic entertainers.
Performer Cameron Goodall offers countless interpretations of singers from Sid Vicious to Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke to Nick Drake, Jim Morrison & Kurt Cobain.
Singers who have had untimely endings to their more often than not very young years.
Goodall's show is a masterful tribute performance. His ability to interpret the singers voices & mannerisms pay respectful homage to some of music's most sadly lost legends.
It runs at the Auckland Town Hall till the end of the weekend.
If you're a dedicated music fan or someone with an interest in watching fantastic live performances I think you'd thoroughly enjoy seeing this show.
