Especially when you have exams, homeworks and need a lot of time to study. But It’s all about planning. Here are few things I’m doing right now to deal with school, work and my workouts. ❤️🖤💚 ✅ I write down everything I have to do on my phone. ✅ I wake up early! Definitely not something easy to do but it’s the best way to get more time to achieve everything I plan to do in a day. ✅I’m trying to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night ✅I’m trying to not put things I can do today for tomorrow. Not bad for gaining 6 pounds
Slowly losing the abs, but putting on the size is the goal and always has been so I can come to terms with this. However, this was just after I ate 2 subs for lunch 🤷‍♂️ . . Strength is increasing slowly but surely 😈 but man does that chest not want to grow 😓. . . Might need more volume or even just more frequency. I will make sure I take care of that and experiment with what I think will work in the near future!
Hamstring work using the humble Swiss ball. Simple equipment. Packs a punch! 3-5 sets, 15-20 reps per exercise. No break in between exercise. 45-60 sec rest between sets. 1. Hip bridge. Dig your heels into the ball, squeeze glutes and abs. Lift and lower your glutes. 2. Leg curls. Dig heels into the ball, squeeze glutes and abs, keep hips up high, neutral spine. Roll ball in and out without dropping the hips. The hamstrings cross both hip and knee joints thus, work to extend the hip (Exercise 1) and flex the knee (Exercise 2). The addition of the Swiss ball creates instability so your core has to work extra hard to maintain balance. On this #transformationtuesday, I wanna share a pic I took this past weekend compared to one from my girls trip in 🌊 September. I usually share ones compared to my “before” pic back in May, but I was stunned when I scrolled my camera roll for pics and saw 👀 this one. See on this girls trip, I felt fairly comfortable but knew I had more to work to do to feel really comfortable in my own skin again. ✨ When I started my PiYo bootcamp in October, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had never done the full 60 day calendar and wasn’t sure how much results I would get without using weights. Well I hope the current pic also shows how 🤗happy I am to be leaner and stronger because that’s exactly how I feel. I’m not a super model by any means but at #almostforty (39 in February 😭), I love ❤️feeling better than ever!! ✨ It’s so important to surround yourself with positive ➕people and use a healthy approach to fitness. Otherwise, shame and guilt lead us to crash diets and unhealthy, short-lived success. #beentheredonethat and not going back 💪🏼 WHO’S WITH ME??
Love this for Transformation Tuesday. It is so me Over 4 months ago. I wouldn't have thought I would have come this far. Because I took the bull by the horns. I am thinner. It has been done steadily using different workouts. I have become leaner as my nutrition has been on point. Not always as I had off days. But I . Changed my mindset. Reading Personal Development. My favourite was Your a Badass. It's so true listening to it you know what it means. Some people are false . So don't always believe what you see. I am a lot stronger as the workouts at first I modified then used different variations. I am a strong person mindfully as well. But sometimes you just need to step back and listen to your body. Challenge yourself to be better than yesterday.
