Beautiful sunrise just now at Sasdafras on Tassie's Northwest Coast.
First time I've been up for sunrise for a while, and I remember why that is now! 😂
It's a wonderful time of day, and I love it, but I love my bed at this hour too!
I always thought that Sassafras was a Tasmanian Aboriginal name, but turns out it's a Spanish name (for a tree) which may have either been derived from Latin or a Native American name. Whatever its origin, not many place names rhyme with themselves, so it's a cool name.
So after I leave here today, it's back to Kingstonfringston via Launcestonwonsesston.
Had a lovely 6th birthday party at Tailrace Park for little Sethy yesterday, with Seth obviously and my older kids Jemma and Jacob. Seth loved it even if it was too windy to light the candles. He still pretended to blow the candles out after we sang Happy Birthday! He's so adorable 😂❤
Have a great day, I'm going back to sleep!
