MARATHON TRAINING//πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ Surprised myself today. I didn't want to go out. Really struggled with the idea of having to leave the house to run. @rlevettator had to really talk me into it and remind me that I'm training for a marathon - which involves actually running a marathon. Once we were out though, it was lush. Really nice run along the River. Furthest run so far since coming back from being injured. My @newbalanceuk 1260s are really helping I think - as well as concentrating really hard on engaging my glutes while I run. __________________ Side note: really impressed with my iPhone here. I have flat feet, so appreciate all the extra stability I can get when it comes to running! Genuinely love them. Reckon these will be my marathon shoes πŸ™ŒπŸ½ ***** It's incredible what people are capable of. Whatever it is your training for, know that you can do it. Just keep going. I am not built for running – or exercise at all probably tbh, but it doesn't matter. I don't need to be the fastest or the fittest person on the day. I just need to keep going. And enjoy the process. Don't let anyone tell you you can't do something. ***** Before we left this morning on our run, @rlevettator made me repeat 'I love running' a few times, to get my head in the game. I know it sounds silly, but it really helps. I make my clients do it all the time with burpees.
