I’m not going to lie to you. When I first made this I was discouraged because I didn’t feel as if I saw “enough progress” or really any at all. Then I looked closer and I saw something else. I see the obvious physical gains (although minor, they mean the world to me) but most of all I see so much mental progress (lolz i know you can’t “see” this). The girl on the left was happy, don’t get me wrong, but she was constantly trying to cut, and prove to this little social media world that she was enough. She was eating between 1,400-1,600 calories and struggling with body image daily. The girl on the right though, that girl represents a year and a half-ish of WORK. Inside and outside the gym. Working every damn day to be better, to love myself more, to fuel my body correctly, and to most of all enjoy life. I’m so beyond proud of myself, and this right here my friends is my WHY. . . I also want to touch on slow progress. The left is July 22, 2016 and the right is yesterday. Some people make the most insane transformations in the matter of weeks.. but my progress is slower. This is the type of fitness lifestyle I choose, and the one that works best for ME. While it can be SO frustrating at times, feeling like you don’t see the changes that others get quickly.. don’t give up!
