had an absolute ball chasing this epic storm along his local coast! "I pulled into a car park at about 12am just out of Port Fairy and set up looking across the bay toward the Port Fairy Lighthouse. I could see random spikes of lighting creeping closer and closer behind the lighthouse! Then...BAM (Insert sound effects)!! One hell of a big bolt exploded!
This is a good example of how well the D850 handles in low light. Having the ability to be able crop right in on its 45.7megapixel real estate, whilst not losing clarity, is also delicious! This shot was coupled with the stupidly sharp Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VRii. It was great to see the outcome of 2 perfectly created equals working together!" Camera: Nikon D850
