While tryna get my summer shred on I've been utilizing HIIT (high intensity interval training) 1-3ish x per week.
Everyone is different but I find that HIIT is effective for my body & my short attention span. It also comes with so many muscle-building & fat-burning benefits😍 I'd rather be all out dying for 15 minutes than bored for 45, but that's jus me🤷🏼♀️ #gohardorgohome
The beauty is you can pick your interval times & then pick a ratio - i.e. 1:1, 1:2 (double the rest), 2:1 (half the rest). Today I chose 15 second intervals with a 1:1 ratio. So 15s my most intense speed, 15s rest, repeat until your legs turn to jelly..jk I'll usually do anywhere from 5-12 rounds depending on the interval & intensity.
