- To Deadlift or not 😳
The deadlift is an awesome exercise primarily because of the stress it places on the ENTIRE body. 👊
You need to understand that muscle growth isn't primarily a localised event, this means that the big, complex compound exercises will go a long way in improving muscle growth and strength all throughout the body. 💪
As you may already know, it utilizes the legs, muscles of the back, arms, forearms and even the shoulders to an extent.
It's a very effective exercise for building mass, especially in the legs and muscles of the back.
Have you ever seen a proper deadlifter who has had a pencil-neck, thin/underdeveloped lats and/or legs?
The exercise is a fullbody effort, and the muscles such as the erector spinae and the various other muscles in the back that benefit from the execution of the exercise will experience tremendous strength and growth. 👌
I would add deadlifts into your back workout!
Deadlifts can be used for all types of training such as growth cycles ( bulking ), improving general health, losing bodyfat ( cutting ), strength specific training and sports specific training.
Consistency is the key! 🙌
