Alternatives for whey protein💥
I used to think that protein supplement is a must for muscle growth and spent money for at least a tub of protein every month💵🕊.
Later on after reading and researching i've come to understand that protein supplements are just a convenient option to assist us in consuming adequate protein for muscle growth and they are not a necessity.
In fact protein supplements are just protein and just like any other protein that we would get from a whole food source🍗🧀🍳
In the above photo, I've listed some of the whole food sources which consist of similar amount of protein with a scoop of dymatize protein powder.
Of course there are other alternatives too which i didn't include due to limited space😅🙏🏻
As a conclusion if we can get of our protein from whole food, we dont' need any protein supplement.
However if you are those that get bored easily with whole food you can certainly consume protein powder as an alternative.
Just remember to treat it as a tool for convenience and not necessity👍🏻.
