#TwistyHips with @DocJenFit💁🏻💃 Rotation of the hip joints is incredibly valuable💰 for not only rotational sports🏌️🏂🎾⚾️, but for movements like squatting, lunging, and deadlifting.🏋️🤸‍♂️ Every movement we make uses some rotation of those sexy hips💋, so if you find this “simple-looking” exercise to be difficult… you need to do it… often. 💪It will help with any gym routine or sport that you do. This looks silly, but don’t be fooled. 😉 . . I (Andrew) am happy😁 to say that my external hip rotation(rotate thigh outward) is more controlled than Jen’s! At least in this exercise. She has freaky hip internal rotation though. Because of this, we have Jen demonstrating internal rotation🔁 while I demonstrate external🔄. We both have difficulty doing the opposite. . . The goal of this exercise isn’t to just sit there and let your hips stretch, it is to activate🔥 your muscles in your “end-range” to try and lift the foot and/or leg off of the ground ⬆️1 at a time. Like Jen, try to lift the back foot off of the ground, rotating the thigh inward, and hold💪 it there for a couple seconds and do repetitions of 10-15 on each side. Try not to use your hands for assistance.👎 For my external rotation(rotating the thigh outward), work on lifting just the foot or the entire leg off of the ground and holding it there for a few seconds⏱ for another 10-15 repetitions on each side. Do 2-4 sets of this! . . Strengthening 💪your hip rotation makes healthy hips! It is far more effective to do something like this than just holding a 5-minute pigeon stretch… your hips will go right back to where they were.🤦‍♂️ Strengthen both ways! . . P.S. I cannot express how glad I was to go back to Jordan again - but this time with many responsibilities, I was really pleased to meet with my sisters and brothers from my country #syria who are fighting to achieve their rights, specially their right to education. And it was great hearing all messages from the children to the world. Particularly the messages of hope for rebuilding Syria. I'm so proud to represent these wonderful generations. Thank you @quotewagon for such an amazing post. . Since i was a child, i learnt from my parents to have a pleasure in giving... This has always given my life a different dimension, seeing the smile on the faces of so many people. The only problem is that i expected everytime something in return. What i mean by that, is maybe attention or a thank you in return. And when you expect something, you will be deceived if you do not get it... . But i realized lately, that what i try to do was for me an accomplishment... What i get in return was that sense of achievement.... I do not need people to recognize that because i already know my self worth... and this is how i moved myself from getting deceived all the time, into enjoying the pleasure of unconditional help... . This is a life tome lesson that i wish everyone to understand and apply in their lives. Give with no other intent... Give not to take whether it is attention, love, money .... ANYTHING....
