Circuit training Only been able to train twice this week so i have switched it up and done full body circuits last 2 days and focused on moving the weight as quick as possible during all movements. Been a nice change up and getting it done with a former international cricket player @kenroypeters has been good to learn a few things off. Always trying to learn new things and change my workouts up to keep them enjoyble!! Worked up to 60kg for sets of 5 then 50kg for sets of 5 on sumo deadlift...that form though 👊👏 first time doing heavy sets and sumo deadlifts after recovering from shoulder surgery and smashed it! Second workout of the day...after hitting legs early on i decided to go back and hit some weak areas and try put some focus on them. I want to try bring my lower back up and deadlifts so i hit rack pulls first and worked upto 150kg for a rep then hit a few sets of 120 for reps and got 9 on my last set. I used the stand to make sure i was pulling from below my knee which is where my sticking point tends to be on the dealift. Felt like hitting some cleans as i aint done them in a while and hit 3 sets of 3 with 60kg first time doing that weight in ages but it felt okay. I hit a lot of different rows and then finished with biceps like back to back sets. Getting it done...after being woken up early by @np_fitdiary this morning i couldnt turn down the chance to smash some legs! Had to flip it around this week with doing front squats first with 60kg for 5 sets of 10 then going into working upto a heavy set in back squat and made it to 123 for 2 reps which after hitting front squats first i was super happy with and for getting pushed during each set even though my quads were feeling it big time today then hit 80kg for 5 sets of 8 to finish the squats off and quads! Cant wait to see where i can these squats to 🙄 only my 3rd week back lifting heavy again but cant beat that feeling. Another top session with @np_fitdiary. Push day Hit the DB bench press something that i need to work on specially for balance in each side but i am working on getting better. Hit some kind of banded pull aparts after each set to work the rear delts as i am trying to get some volume work done on them as i aint been working them much. Started with bench went onto OHP then got some one arm presses in on the DB incline to finish it off and work the balance side of things. First workout out back since thursday so was nice to get back to it with some deadlifts. Worked upto 155 then did 5sets of 10 with 90kg in the vid was last set of 10 before moving onto sumo stance. First time back doing them with some weight on and felt good just left the 90 on and did 4 sets of 5 to try work back into it then finshed off with some pulldown work and reallly focused on getting the stretch at top and squeezing at bottom for a second or 2. Had a great weekend off and even got the chance to go and watch a pca event which has motivated me to step it up even more with my training and see where i can get to. Barbell complex I thought i would give this a go toward the end of my workout. Great way to finish a workout off or if you dont have much time to workout. After my warm up set i aimed to get 3 or 5 reps on each movement so your getting plenty or reps in with different movements so it really takes it out of you after a few sets.
