@sweatandtravel progress using my #bbg program!! She says "As you may see on the left photo I didn't feel really comfortable in my body. When I was wearing a bikini I always tried to cover my body with my hands and arms like in the left picture. But today I really love the person I've became and not because I'm leaner than before...but also because I've found my healthy balanced life. I've learned that It's not the way you look that makes you happy it's the way you feel. And for that I want to say a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig thank you to @kayla_itsines because you have showed me that fitness means so much more than only losing weight!!! So just an update! Again, for those of you that don't know, I got the flu pretty bad while I was away and then developed a bad cough when I got home. BUT GUESS WHAT?..... IM GETTING BETTER!!! (post pregnancy to now) #bbgprogress @fitinthe6 progress using my #bbg program! She says β€œ0-57 WEEKS BBG!! A lot of change happens in a year. After having my second baby I knew that I wanted to start working out as soon as I got the "OK" from my doctor. Of course, one reason was to lose the baby weight. Another was to have extra energy since my day was consumed by sleepless nights, babies, feeding and poop, everywhereπŸ’©. The third reason though is STILL one of the main reasons I work out... for my mental health. I don't talk about it too often but I struggled with the blues after having my first son, Finn, and it scared me. I was lethargic, I was totally overwhelmed by this new baby (who I loved very much) and I had a hard time adjusting to being "needed" 24/7. It gave me anxiety and I also struggled with everyone only ever asking me about the baby was and how motherhood was, because I didn't leave all my hopes, ambitions and dreams on the delivery room floor. I really wanted to be a good mom and I desperately needed something just for me that would help. Enter @kayla_itsines BBGπŸ™ŒπŸ» ➑️ taking that 30 minutes a day to do something just for me , to work hard at something and see changes, to feel like I accomplished something for ME, and to get endorphins to make everything feel a bit better... it made me feel human again, like I could reclaim a bit of the old Morgan that I somehow couldn't find. The structure of the workouts took the anxiety away from working out and made it so fun (even if it kicked my butt every.single.time. πŸ˜… It truly helped me to be a better mother. When I found out I was expecting baby number two when Finny was 8 months old I knew that this was going to essential to surviving life with two bubbas, 16 months apart. And it has been. A year later and I still get anxious at times, I still struggle with some of those blues, but I feel STRONGπŸ’ͺ🏻 and like I can take on anything. And I have this amazing community of women who are there to support and encourage me every step of the way.πŸ‘― I am so so thankful for all of you 😘😭 For those of you mama's who are struggling...
